The Smart Attendance Calling service is an automated system that seamlessly integrates with a school or district's SIS to send messages to parents informing them of student tardiness and absence. Teleparent's Smart Attendance is an automated messaging system that seamlessly integrates with a school or district's SIS to send messages to parents informing them of student tardiness and absences. TeleParent employs a dedicated team of developers that constantly works towards effortless integration with the latest SIS databases. Smart Attendance supports both cumulative attendance ("Your student was absent from 3 or more periods today") or period attendance ("Your student was absent from 2nd period").

TeleParent's pre-recorded attendance messages are translated into over 20 languages by professional translators in their native language (NOT by machine translation, which is subject to error and is not recommended for critical communication). There is also an option for users to record their own custom messages. Smart Attendance can be configured to send one or more messages per day either in real time or delayed, based on the type of attendance code.
